Started Death Note 4 today. The battle between L and Light continues and we find out more about the role of Shinigami and the use of Death Notes.

In other news, it seems as if Light’s father has fully recovered both from his recent non-Kira-induced heart attack and from his having driven an armored police van into/through the front of the Sakura TV building. I must say I was amazed at the ability of the police force to marshal such a strong showing in the five minute period L provided!

Such a happy sounding start to this blog! But I’m serious. I’ve been an on-again, off-again fan of manga and anime for several years now, and although I manage to read several titles (issues, not series) per year, I’ve never gotten truly hooked on any particular series… until now.

This book keeps the reader on the edge and although it may get a bit predictable at times, and the ending may be pre-destined, from minute to minute it keeps turning unexpected corners and leaving me impressd.
