Black Friday Report
Stopped in at the local Walmart after dinner tonight, and was surprised to find several of the C release Hotwheels on the hooks. I picked up the following:
- 7 / Fast Cash
- 11 / ’70 Pontiac GTO Judge
- 14 / ’63 Mustang II Concept
- 77 / La Fasta
- 130 / Mustang Funny Car
- 178 / 5 Alarm
- 190 / Ferrari F430 Spider
- 213 / Croc Rod
- 239 / Synkro
They also had all eight (8) cars of the Holiday Series, but I passed on those.

When I received the coupon from Borders for 50% off any title I knew it was my chance to finally start collecting the Walking Dead hardcover editions. So as soon as I got off work, I headed out to the local Borders and picked this thing up.

Marine Basic Training — PD-10

Received notification from STARFLEET Marine Corps Academy instructors that I successfully completed the Marine Basic Training exam (PD-10) with Distinction. This is the first step in the Personal Development track of courses, so now it is on to PD-12, the Marine Essential Task List.
So, if I read the reg’s correctly, I should be awarded the Initial Entry Training Award, and my ribbon rack should soon look like the following:

I am still waiting for my STARFLEET membership renewal to be processed, but I have decided that I will enroll in the STARFLEET Marine Corps for this tour.
Although this is a much smaller group of folks than the naval aspect of SFI, it seems like there are some motivated people involved in this part of it.
